Recently the company made the strategic decision to add Cheryl Abrams, current President of PGCAR; and marketing guru Sam Barbieri to the ownership team.

RE/MAX United was started in December, 2008 by brothers Jack Bannister and John Lesniewski; a bold move in the midst of financial turmoil and the Great Recession. The goal was to create a real estate brokerage with a culture that embraces family type unity with the highest level of professionalism. Jack and John have over 70 years combined experience in the real estate industry. Jack has been exceedingly successful creating a real estate portfolio via investment rental properties, new construction and remodeling. He shares his knowledge for wealth building with all of the agents. John has been extraordinarily successful as a  real estate broker, investor and property manager. He has served as President of the Prince George’s County Association of Realtors (PGCAR) and continues to serve on committees at the County and State level. He has created numerous strategies to enable Remax United agents to achieve their sales goals.
