In 1987, at the age of 22, John left Pennsylvania to work for his brother, Jack Bannister at RE/MAX 100. After less than a year as an administrative assistant, he knew his future would be in sales. He embraced real estate education and attended as many conferences and classes as possible. He built the first, “team” in Prince George’s County real estate in the late 1990’s. He soon had a name that was recognized for business success on a national level.

John has a strong entrepreneurial spirit and has created multiple real estate-related businesses. He has created a very successful real estate agent system – nobody has sold more real estate in Prince George’s County over the last 25 years than John L. He is an exceedingly passionate man and this is manifested by his strong desire to create the best real estate experience for his clients and the best real estate AGENT experience at RE/MAX United. He works tirelessly to help others achieve their goals.
